I've recently bought a home with Darrell who is the principal broker for Destiny. I can honestly say that he is well versed in the real-estate industry. Unlike many real estate agents who come and go as the market ebbs and flows, he has garnered experience in all types of markets and that gives him key insights. My experience is based completely on one transaction and it's the only time I have employed a real-estate agent. I wanted to do a lot of the analysis around the offering price and such and he accommodated my wishes. He also was *very* responsive to my requests. I was also impressed with his creativity in what we could offer to get the buyers attention in a competitive bidding process. Is there is any place where a little improvement could be made I would say it would be in fine-tuning the negotiation skills a little bit. In our transaction we probably gave a little more in the total package than we needed to in order to secure the house we ultimately purchased. But we are talking < 1% of the total purchase price. When you have secure bidding I guess that's not bad and perhaps it's just 20/20 hindsight.
